Asphalt Drum Mixer
Product Overview
The Asphalt Drum Mixer is a continuous asphalt-production system designed for drying, heating, and uniformly mixing aggregates with asphalt binder to produce hot-mix asphalt. It is engineered for demanding road construction, highway rehabilitation, paving, and civil infrastructure projects where consistent asphalt quality and high production efficiency are required.
The drum mixer integrates aggregate heating and mixing within a rotating drum, providing continuous material flow and efficient asphalt production. Its heavy-duty construction makes it suitable for use by road contractors, asphalt producers, civil engineering companies, and infrastructure development projects.

Technicality
The Asphalt Drum Mixer operates through a continuous production process. Cold aggregates are introduced through the feed system and transported into the rotating drum. As the drum rotates, the aggregates are dried and heated by the burner system before being combined with the asphalt binder.
The controlled rotation and internal flight arrangement promote uniform heat transfer and material mixing, while the discharge system continuously delivers the finished hot-mix asphalt for loading or direct use in paving operations.
The equipment can be configured with automatic temperature monitoring, burner controls, dust-collection systems, variable-speed drives, weighing/feeding systems, and computerised plant controls, depending on the manufacturer and model.
