Working Principle

During cementing operations:

1. The casing string with the float shoe is lowered into the well.

2. Cement slurry is pumped through the casing.

3. The check valve inside the float shoe opens under pumping pressure.

4. Cement exits through the shoe into the annulus.

5. Once pumping stops, the valve automatically closes.

6. Backflow of cement or drilling fluid into the casing is prevented.

This helps maintain cement integrity and reduces the risk of contamination.
