Major Components
1. Mast / Tower Sections
The vertical mast consists of modular steel sections bolted together to achieve the required working height.
2. Jib
The horizontal jib provides the crane's working radius and carries the trolley and lifting system.
3. Counter-Jib
The counter-jib balances the main jib and supports the counterweights and associated machinery.
4. Hoisting Mechanism
The electric hoist system raises and lowers loads using a high-strength wire rope and hook block.
5. Slewing System
Heavy-duty slewing motors rotate the upper crane assembly around the vertical tower axis.
6. Trolley System
The trolley travels along the jib, allowing the operator to move the load toward or away from the tower.
7. Operator Cabin
The cabin contains the crane controls, instrumentation, monitoring systems and safety controls.
8. Counterweights
Engineered counterweights provide the necessary balance between the lifted load and crane structure.
