Product Overview

A Mud Motor, also known as a Positive Displacement Motor (PDM), is a downhole drilling tool that converts the hydraulic energy of circulating drilling fluid into mechanical rotation at the drill bit.

Mud motors are widely used in directional drilling, horizontal drilling, vertical drilling, sidetracking and wellbore trajectory control. The motor allows the drill bit to rotate downhole without requiring the entire drillstring to rotate from surface.
