Product Overview

A Tubing String is the production conduit installed inside the well casing to transport oil, gas, water and other produced fluids from the reservoir to the surface. It consists of interconnected tubing joints, couplings and associated completion components designed to withstand the mechanical and pressure conditions of the well.

API Specification 5CT covers steel tubing used in oil and gas wells, including requirements for sizes, wall thicknesses, masses, material grades and end finishes.
